Job Title: Part Time Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Southampton.

About the Role

As a Part Time Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. This will involve visiting clients for a minimum of 1 hour, assisting with personal care, domestic help, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit clients for a minimum of 1 hour to provide personal care and companionship
  • Assist with domestic help and other tasks as required
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the office team
  • Have access to a car and be a driver
  • Have the right to work in the UK
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.00, with £14.00 for evenings and weekends, plus mileage contribution. We also provide shadowing and on-going CPD to ensure you feel confident in your role.

Requirements

We ask that you have a means of transport as clients are predominantly cared for in their own homes, or would like you to accompany them on appointments or outings.

A background in care or a similar customer service role would be advantageous, but we provide full support to become a Care Professional with qualifications.
