About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults, including the elderly.

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to adults, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Assisting with health and social care tasks, such as administering medication and providing emotional support
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has a basic standard of education, including a qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)
  • Has experience of working with adults, including the elderly, and in a health or social care setting
  • Is able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is reliable, patient, and willing to learn
  • Has a full driving license and access to a car for work purposes
