Job Details

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a Senior Practitioner to provide leadership and supervision to staff, assist the team manager with core operational tasks, and deliver responsive assessments to the public underpinned by social work values and principles.

The Person

  • Passionate, skilled, innovative, and people-centred.
  • High standard of written work, able to demonstrate analysis or synthesis of complex information.
  • Confident in knowledge of legislative frameworks.
  • Skilled communicator with an ability to show leadership in practice.
  • Experience of supervision/coaching/mentoring of colleagues.
  • Sound knowledge of risk and ability to demonstrate enabling practice in relation to this.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience of working with older people and significant insight into the challenges and opportunities this work provides.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Social Worker (holding a BA (Hons) Social Work or MSc in Social Work), extensive experience of working within statutory frameworks supporting adults in the community, and an accredited post-qualifying award or willingness to work towards the award within the first 2 years of appointment.

Requirements

The ability to travel throughout Fife is a requirement.
