Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled early years professional to join our team at Fife Council. As a Senior Early Years Officer, you will be responsible for promoting children's learning, development, and welfare within a nursery context. Your role will involve promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality, communicating with stakeholders, and contributing to and leading on wider development within the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote children's learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive nursery environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective service.
  • Contribute to and lead on wider development within the nursery, as appropriate.

Qualification, Registration, and Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold one of the following practitioner-level qualifications:

  • HNC Childhood Practice
  • SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People

You will also need to have experience of working with young children in a formal setting and be able to demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities.
