Job Title: Cost and Data Manager

iQ Student Accommodation is seeking a highly skilled Cost and Data Manager to join our team in London Bridge. As a key member of our support functions, you will play a crucial role in providing a best-in-class property helpdesk and quality assurance strategies to ensure maximum benefit from our management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of the Helpdesk and administration of Reactive/Planned Maintenance activities
  • Manage the quality assurance process in relation to data within the CAFM system
  • Hold budgetary responsibility and support continuous improvement through value engineering techniques and processes
  • Analyze and identify key areas of improvement and apply cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions and aid operational processes and efficiency across the estate
  • Monitor and review data and information to detect and assess problems and make recommendations to resolve issues
  • Utilize cost methodologies and tools to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data
  • Ensure professional and consistent cost management processes are applied to the reactive and planned activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Detailed knowledge of Planon (or other similar) CAFM system
  • Continually strive to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities to produce the best results
  • Demonstrable experience of working within an FM/Construction environment (one or the other)
  • A reasonable level of general education educated to A' Level/GCSE level or with demonstrable written and numerical skills
  • Experience of tracking repairs and maintenance activities
  • Helpful, friendly personality with effective communication skills
