Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide efficient and effective administrative support to our team at Leonards Croft in Stafford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input, meeting and greeting visitors, and other administrative tasks as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation, reception, and clerical skills, with experience working within a care setting being desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for monthly and weekly paid staff using the Priory Payroll systems working in conjunction with the Central Payroll Function.
  • Undertake the full remit of recruitment administration in conjunction with the Service Manager and the Central Resourcing Team to ensure that candidates move successfully through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Process expenses, orders, raise cheques, deal with suppliers on a regular basis.
  • The post holder will be responsible for petty cash reconciliation and dealing with client monies.
  • The post holder will deal with incoming queries to the service and must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Undertake preparation for meetings and take minutes at meetings as requested.
  • Support the Service Manager and wider Service with Administration such as letters, memos, email communications.
  • Undertake diary management.

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland, and the cost of this will be covered by Priory. We are an equal opportunities employer.
