Maths SEN Educator for Students with Special Needs

We are seeking a passionate Maths teacher to deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs at our established SEN school in Haringey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons to SEN students across various key stages.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and teaching assistants to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Maths.
  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
  • Strong understanding of Maths curriculum and assessment for SEN learners.
  • A clear DBS check.

About the Role:
