Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students with special educational needs and has a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
  2. Contribute to student record-keeping by documenting observations and progress, helping us track each student's development.
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues about student needs and progress, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  4. Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and empathy when working with students, creating a positive learning experience.
  5. Promote inclusivity and encourage participation from all students, celebrating individual strengths and abilities.
  6. Provide academic support using various teaching resources, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  7. Support students with special educational needs and additional requirements, providing tailored assistance.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Full-time, temporary contract (3-12 months)
  • Shifts: Day shifts only, Monday to Friday

Salary: £43,480 - £53,590 per annum (£85-£105 per day), dependent on experience and hours worked
