About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our client based in Hampshire.

Estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including Carbon Capture, Onshore, Offshore, Hydrogen, and Renewables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analysis, calculations, and engineering studies as assigned, producing technical safety deliverables per company standards and international codes.
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering Technical Safety work, including Loss Prevention Activities, Risk Analysis, Development of HSE-related Philosophies, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Studies, Conduct HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
  • Supervise subordinates to ensure technical standards and project schedules are met.
  • Participate in the development of company standards and procedures when assigned.
  • Assist with manhour estimates and planning activities for proposals and projects when required.
  • Stay updated on technical developments, relevant standards, and departmental procedures.
  • Actively participate in technical safety reviews, such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering.
  • Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
