Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermodynamics Specialist to join our team in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on flow assurance activities for oil and gas transport via flowlines, trunklines, and pipeline installations.

Key responsibilities include preparation of technical documentation, supplier selection and review, and review and approval of FEED, tender, and detailed engineering performed by contractors.

You will also collaborate with other colleagues in the subsea systems department and flow assurance team to ensure seamless delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of technical documentation for flow assurance activities
  • Supplier selection and review for flow assurance discipline
  • Review and approval of FEED, tender, and detailed engineering performed by contractors
  • Collaboration with other departments and teams

Requirements
  • Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
  • Ability to identify, define, and analyse complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes
  • Proficient knowledge of multiphase steady state and transient simulations with specialist flow assurance software
  • Experience with technical audit and design & safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZID's, risk assessments
