Job Title: Divisional Head of Service Improvement and Efficiency
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Service Improvement and Efficiency team. As the Divisional Head of Service Improvement and Efficiency, you will be responsible for driving service improvement and transformation projects across our Planned Care Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and lead cross-cutting themes such as Outpatients, Bed or Theatre Productivity.
- Establish aims, targets, and scope for the Cost Improvement Programme (CIPs) and coordinate CIPs delivery according to agreed timescales.
- Ensure the clinical perspective is central to service improvement and transformation by working with clinicians to set clear priorities and complete quality impact assessments.
- Support the Trust in facilitating discussions to encourage creative thinking, identify options, analytics, and develop methods to realise the benefits of service improvement and transformation programmes.
- Assist with setting up systems for measuring improvement and CIPs, and coordinate the collection, analysis, synthesis, and presentation of data in various formats.
- Lead and support the preparation of agendas and papers, and undertake follow-up work as required.
- Ensure issues blocking the progress of service improvement and transformation programmes are flagged and dealt with.
- Communicate the achievements of service improvement and transformation programmes across the Trust.
- Ensure the patients' voice and needs are at the heart of the SI&E programme.
- Ensure projects are managed to budget and on time, meeting required levels of quality.
