About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ecologist or senior ecologist to join our team at FPCR Environment and Design Ltd. As a key member of our ecology team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality ecological assessments, surveys, and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and deliver ecological projects, collaborating with our talented team of ecologists, landscape architects, and environmental planners.
  2. Manage and deliver ecological projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
  3. Conduct surveys, assessments, and prepare ecological reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  5. Advise clients on biodiversity net gain, DEFRA statutory biodiversity metric, and production of associated reports and plans.
  6. Develop and maintain strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation, guidelines, and best practice.
