Ecologist to Senior Ecologist Role

We are seeking an experienced ecologist or senior ecologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology and a proven track record in managing and delivering ecological projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality ecological assessments, surveys, and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our team of ecologists, landscape architects, and environmental planners.
  • Develop and implement ecological projects, including project management and deadline meeting.
  • Conduct surveys, assessments, and prepare ecological reports.
  • Advise clients on biodiversity net gain, DEFRA statutory biodiversity metric, and production of associated reports and plans.

Requirements:

  • Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering ecological projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation, guidelines, and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body.
