Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for leading and developing the skills of other radiographers, assistant practitioners, and student radiographers. You will also be responsible for training rotational radiographers and radiology registrars or clinical fellows in the use of complex imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the skills of other radiographers, assistant practitioners, and student radiographers.
  • Train rotational radiographers and radiology registrars or clinical fellows in the use of complex imaging equipment.
  • Develop and implement protocols to improve service planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving practice and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in the department's CPD program.
  • Contribute to the development of others through example and education.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a radiographer.
  • Proven leadership and training skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with evolving practice and legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
