**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and service users.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
  • Work closely with radiologists and consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways
  • Adjust and utilize the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
  • Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits, and QA
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records

**Requirements**

  • HCPC registered
  • Degree within Radiography
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within MRI ONLY (ideally from a UK-based Hospital/Clinic)
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning
  • Knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants
  • Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners
