Amphenol Advanced Sensors is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant to become a vital part of our organization.

Role Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the organization by analyzing and reporting on financial results that are essential for informed decision-making regarding the performance of business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain precise product standard costings.
  • Deliver production analytics to assess and report on site performance.
  • Support the migration of systems to Oracle as necessary.
  • Facilitate customer contract negotiations by providing insights into customer and product profitability.
  • Provide the site controller with detailed analyses of costs, revenues, and balance sheets.
  • Oversee periodic cycle counts and the annual stocktake process.
  • Update Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) data and reports, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and strategic planning processes, as well as the annual budget preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory accounting requirements.
  • Support both external and internal audit processes.
  • Provide coverage for other finance team members as needed.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • CIMA qualified or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP solutions.
  • Structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (macro level).
  • Analytical mindset and self-motivated.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Able to perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn new methods and tasks.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous.
