Assistant Management Accountant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our diverse and supportive finance team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Financial Management team to provide financial advice, prepare accounts, forecasts, and budgets for the west division.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze variances in expenditure and provide guidance on corrective action to optimize financial performance
- Provide professional and timely support and advice to staff, promoting a culture of financial awareness and responsibility
- Investigate financial inquiries and offer assistance as necessary, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction
- AAT part-qualified or equivalent experience in a finance department
- Demonstrable experience in a finance role, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Analytical approach and good attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement
