Job Summary:

Holt Recruitment seeks an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to join our team in the Bournemouth area.

As a key member of the finance function, you will assist the Finance Manager with accounting tasks, process supplier invoices, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain an efficient finance function.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and perform supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Manage bank payments and daily credit card receipts.
  • Update forecasts using Excel.
  • Assist with accounting tasks, including supplier invoicing and bank reconciliation.
  • Maintain an efficient and accurate finance function.
  • Provide support to the accounts team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant role, ideally in the Motor Trade.
  • Confident Accounts Experience.
  • Good communication skills, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
