About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and software;">
  • Liaise with workshop controllers and managers to ensure efficient workflow and optimal vehicle maintenance;">
  • Service and maintain vehicles to ensure they meet high safety and performance standards;">
  • Carry out Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) to identify potential issues before they become major problems;">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Repairs or similar qualification, or Level 2 with sufficient experience;">
  • At least 2 years of experience in a large garage environment;">
  • A full driving license;">
  • Ownership of necessary tools and equipment.">

Working Hours:

The role involves working on a rotating shift pattern, with 39.5 hours per week. This includes working between 06:00-14:30 and 07:30-16:00, depending on the week.
