As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver profitable revenue growth for the SME division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively sell profitable new business within a territory to meet set targets
- Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual new business targets
- Manage a sales territory and/or prospect lists for business opportunities
- Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity on to the Company Operating System
- Present weekly/monthly/quarterly personal performance reports
- Liaise regularly with Depot Manager/Regional General Manager/Regional Commercial Manager to determine roll-out sales offensives within regions
- Be the primary interface between Biffa and target customers
- Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales selling contracted services
- Consistent overachiever of targets
- History of overachievement in new business sales
- Articulate, confident, and assertive
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, demonstrating a strong 'can-do' attitude towards business development
- Tenacious, resilient, determined to succeed, and prepared to 'go that extra mile' to win customer commitment towards a lasting and profitable partnership
- Ability to travel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong commercial background and awareness
- Analytical ability to quickly assess issues and recommend or implement solutions
- Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively
- Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships
- Solid pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize
- Business/Marketing Studies graduates would be considered if beginning their career journey
