Are you passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic primary school in NG17.

This full-time position offers a supportive environment where you can make a real difference, mostly in-class with some out-of-class activities. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing the school's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) with tailored support, communicating regularly with parents on behaviour and progress, adapting learning to meet the pupil's unique needs, and providing 1:1 support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt learning to meet the pupil's unique needs, with a flexible approach
  • Provide 1:1 support, building a strong relationship with the pupil

We require a Level 3 CACHE/NVQ or equivalent qualification, a basic understanding of ADHD (Level 1 preferred), experience working with SEN pupils, and reliability and consistency in your work.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
