Procurement Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

Alaska Black is recruiting a Procurement Manager for a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC in Lincolnshire. The company is known for its premium offerings and has a fleet of well-invested manufacturing facilities across the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage supplier accounts for raw materials and packaging, including obtaining pricing and specifications, negotiating contract pricing and terms, and maintaining systems data.
* Report and track market trends and supplier performance, as well as assess risks associated with suppliers and raw materials.
* Lead the procurement team and manage its members.

**Requirements**

* Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively disseminate information within the business and with customers and suppliers.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
