About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Complaints Learning and Improvement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Complaints, Learning and Improvement Team, you will play a vital role in improving customer service and ensuring that we meet the expectations of our residents.

As a Corporate Complaints Learning and Improvement Officer, you will be responsible for handling and resolving complaints from all kinds of people, directly influencing the experience of our customers. You will take a respectful and inclusive approach, ensuring that every member of our community feels acknowledged and appreciated.

You will enjoy varied responsibilities, including recording, reporting, analysing, and quality assuring complaints, as well as maintaining the case management system. You will also proactively challenge the Council to do better, by identifying what we can learn from complaints and collaborating with services to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve complaints from residents in a sensitive and understanding manner
  • Record, report, analyse, and quality assure complaints
  • Maintain the case management system
  • Proactively challenge the Council to improve customer service
  • Collaborate with services to improve the customer experience

Requirements:

  • Track record of experience in complaint handling or dispute resolution
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents and Council colleagues
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
