About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cost/Maintenance Controller to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our Fleet Operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and cost controlling aspects of our daily operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cost Scrutiny and Authorisation: Review and authorise costs for up to 150 daily jobs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Estimate and Authorisation Workflow Management: Manage the estimate and authorisation workflow via portals, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Supplier Interface and Billing Management: Interface with up to 100 maintenance suppliers and their respective billing structures, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Quality Checking and Compliance: Conduct quality checks on compliance documentation to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Warranty Investigation and Reporting: Investigate warranty violations and report on billing accuracy of suppliers within the maintenance network.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Excellent IT skills, preferably with experience in a range of software packages, including Excel, Work, and PowerPoint.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant Automotive Engineering and/or Maintenance field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a workshop and/or fleet environment.
Working Arrangements
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm (mix of shifts within these hours).
  • Pay Rate: £17.16 per hour.
  • Hybrid Working: After the initial training period, hybrid working is offered with 2 days working from home.
  • Contract Type: Temporary ongoing basis, with no end date set.
