We are seeking skilled professionals to join our esteemed client, Pertemps TM, in a pivotal role within the Fleet department.

As a Cost Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various Technical and Financial Control functions. Collaborating with a dedicated team of Technical Managers, Service Coordinators, and Administrative staff, you will engage in a variety of processes aimed at achieving daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, evaluate, and approve costs associated with up to 150 daily operations
  • Manage the estimate and authorization workflow through various communication channels
  • Engage with a network of up to 100 Maintenance Providers and their billing practices
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on compliance documentation
  • Investigate warranty discrepancies
  • Analyze billing accuracy from suppliers within the Maintenance network
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field related to Automotive Engineering and/or Maintenance
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Workshop and/or Fleet setting
While not mandatory, experience in authorizing work within a fleet context, collaborating with suppliers, and verifying HGV compliance documentation is considered beneficial.

Additional Information:
  • This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with working hours between 8 am and 5 pm (a mix of shifts may apply)
  • The offered pay rate for this role is £17.16 per hour
  • Post-training, hybrid working arrangements are available, allowing for 2 days of remote work
  • This role is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, with no predetermined end date.
