Cost Control Specialist

As a Cost Control Specialist within the Fleet division, you will be tasked with overseeing a variety of Technical and Financial Management decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the estimation and authorization workflow through various platforms, including digital portals and direct communication.
- Collaborating with numerous Maintenance Providers and understanding their unique billing frameworks.
- Conducting thorough quality checks on compliance documentation.
- Monitoring and reporting on the accuracy of supplier billing within the Maintenance network.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Strong IT capabilities, with proficiency in software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field related to Automotive Engineering and/or Maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Workshop and/or Fleet setting.
While not mandatory, having experience in authorizing work within a fleet context, engaging with suppliers, and performing quality checks on HGV compliance documentation will be considered beneficial.
Additional Information:
This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with working hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, including a mix of shifts within this timeframe.
The pay rate for this role is £16 per hour.
After completing the initial training phase, a hybrid working model will be available, allowing for two days of remote work each week.
This opportunity is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, with no predetermined end date.
