About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coroners Court Clerk on a casual basis. As a key member of the South Manchester Coroner Service, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the courtrooms, managing audio-visual equipment, and providing administrative support to the coroner and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clerking coroners courts, ensuring all witnesses are present and sworn in
  • Managing courtrooms audio-visual and recording equipment
  • Completing after-inquest paperwork to issue death certificates
  • Assisting in the management of juries

About You

We are looking for a forward-thinking, self-motivated, and results-driven individual who excels in customer service. A good understanding of ICT and ability to use various software packages are essential.
