As a Tutoring Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of young people with SEN, SEND and SEMH requirements.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions covering core subjects, utilising a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students.
  • Plan and implement tailored lesson plans to address the specific needs of each student, promoting academic progress and confidence.
  • Maintain regular communication with guardians and case workers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's needs and progress.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualifications and training relevant to this role, such as a teaching degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing areas of need, using evidence-based strategies and interventions.
  • A current DBS certificate with update service registration, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Holiday entitlement includes 8 bank holidays and 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, offering a healthy work-life balance and opportunities for rest and relaxation.

The role is available term-time, primarily between 8:30am and 3:30pm, with flexibility to work around current commitments, accommodating individual needs and preferences.

This position would suit individuals from an education or social care background, bringing valuable expertise and experience to this rewarding role.

Estimated salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
