Job Title: Governance Officer - University Support

We are seeking a Governance Officer to provide administrative support to our client, a prestigious Russell Group University in London.

This is a temporary role, initially for three months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work full-time, remotely, and will be responsible for performing secretarial duties, preparing agendas, and taking minutes of meetings.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in governance administration, with excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the Governance team, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
  2. Assisting with the organization of meetings, including arranging reports and creating agenda packs.
  3. Supporting the Head of Governance and Legal Services with administrative tasks and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  1. Recent experience in governance administration, preferably in a university setting.
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  3. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working hours:

  1. 35 hours per week.
  2. Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
  3. Fully remote.
