Governance Officer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Governance Officer to join our team at Goodman Masson. As a Governance Officer, you will provide high-quality corporate governance advice to Boards and/or Committees, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional support.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide expert corporate governance advice to Boards and/or Committees, including preparing agendas, drafting papers, and reviewing minutes.
* Monitor and flag conflicts of interest, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.
* Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise advice.
* Collaborate with the team to maintain quality standards and ensure that our clients receive exceptional service.

**Requirements**

* Experience of working in a Secretariat or Governance team, preferably within the Lloyd's and/or London Market.
* Proven track record of providing high-quality corporate governance advice to Boards and/or Committees.
* Familiarity with Board portal software and corporate governance software.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and corporate governance software.
* Collaborative team player with a flexible approach.
