Psychiatric Practitioners in Correctional Settings

Crooton Ltd is recruiting experienced registered mental health nurses to join its Early Days in Custody (EDiC) team at HMP Elmley.
The selected candidate will work with individuals in the early stages of their custodial journey, providing high-quality mental health services and promoting rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing holistic support plans
- Providing personalized care and support to detainees
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
Requirements
To be successful in this position, applicants must have:
- Registration with the NMC
- Experience working with mentally ill individuals in a correctional setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £39,338-£46,962 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Location
The role will be based at HMP Elmley, located on the Isle of Sheppey, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
