About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is available for a Substance Misuse Practitioner to join our team at Crooton Ltd. We are proud to be working with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust who have recently been voted one of the Best Places to Work 2023.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist substance misuse care to offenders, working as part of an integrated and multi-disciplinary health service. This role requires delivering a range of specialist interventions at primary and secondary care levels, including referral management, screening assessment, triage, and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral management, screening assessment, triage, and evidence-based interventions
  • One-to-one and group-work facilitation
  • Assertive outreach interventions
  • Managing a mixed and challenging caseload

What do you need?

  • To be a Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration training in substance misuse/dual diagnosis, psychological therapies, or RCGP Part 1 Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working post-qualification as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in prison or secure settings and post-qualification experience in working within substance misuse services

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £39,338-£46,962 per annum, dependent on experience.
