About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Chemotherapy Staff Nurse to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT. As a Senior Chemotherapy Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of nurses in the delivery of high-quality chemotherapy care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of nurses in the delivery of chemotherapy care
- Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients
- Develop and implement care plans for patients receiving chemotherapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to chemotherapy care
Requirements
- 1st level registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care ILS
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Previous experience in cancer nursing, preferably in a leadership role
