Visual Arts Sector Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Visual Arts Sector Specialist to join our team at Arts Council England. As a key member of our north region, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with funded organisations in the visual arts sector.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the visual arts landscape and a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that promote artistic growth and innovation. You will work closely with local authorities, cultural institutions, and community groups to foster partnerships that drive creative excellence and accessibility.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to national initiatives aimed at increasing diversity and inclusivity within the arts. Your expertise will help shape policy and programming that benefits both artists and audiences across the region.
We offer a competitive salary of £36,987 per annum pro rata, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a final salary pension scheme and generous annual leave. You will also have access to flexible working arrangements and regular opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH FUNDED ORGANISATIONS IN THE VISUAL ARTS SECTOR
- DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES THAT PROMOTE ARTISTIC GROWTH AND INNOVATION
- FOSTER PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS, AND COMMUNITY GROUPS
- CONTRIBUTE TO NATIONAL INITIATIVES AIMED AT INCREASING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVITY WITHIN THE ARTS
