Visual Arts Funding Specialist

The Arts Council England is seeking a skilled Relationship Director to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with funded organizations in the Visual Arts sector. Your primary goal will be to support the growth of a vibrant, innovative, and diverse range of opportunities in the north.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funded organizations in the Visual Arts sector.
- Work closely with local stakeholders to take a place-based, creativity-led approach to cultural development.
- Provide funding advice on Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants and other funds.
- Assess financial information, identify risks, and provide feedback on artistic plans.
- Support the development of new partnerships and initiatives that promote cultural development in the region.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the Visual Arts sector and a proven track record of successful partnership-building. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £36,987 per annum pro rata, plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
