We are a national team that delivers Members' Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) engagements for a broad range of clients across all sectors and industries in the UK. Our engagements range from dormant company eliminations to large, recently traded entities, partnerships, PLCs, and Investment Trusts. We work alongside tax, legal, and accounting specialists to deliver complex projects.

**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking an associate to join our Corporate Simplification team on a fixed-term contract for twelve months. The successful candidate will assist with onboarding and delivering MVL/LER engagements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Complete pre-liquidation client and engagement acceptance procedures.
  • Assist with pre-liquidation due diligence and preparatory steps.
  • Correspond with clients.
  • Produce legal documentation to commence liquidations and appoint liquidators.
  • Complete statutory filing, advertising, and notification requirements.
  • Assist with day-to-day matters, including realising assets, dealing with creditors' claims, processing payments, calculating distributions, and drafting reports.
  • Monitor liquidation progression and case compliance matters.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in insolvency, consulting, or a similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
