About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural analysis and design of building structures and foundations in diverse sectors and scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure technically accurate and efficient designs that minimize embodied carbon.
  • Practice innovative design and strive to find the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical skills through training and self-learning.
  • Communicate designs to team members and construction sites.
  • Participate in technical groups and team meetings to support continuous improvement.
About You

We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer with at least 8 years of experience. You should have a degree in structural or civil engineering and relevant experience in various sectors such as schools, higher education, residential, commercial, or industrial development.

You should be able to design conceptually, with an appreciation of multi-discipline coordination and a proven track record of delivering accurate and innovative structural designs.
