Structural Engineer Opportunity

Mainstay Facilities Careers is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for leading structural design projects and collaborating with architects and contractors to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to ensure timely delivery of structural design projects.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to establish project needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for major projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with project teams to ensure project progress.
Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 6+ years of structural design experience in the UK construction market.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards, with up-to-date knowledge of continuous developments in Structural Engineering.
