About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Structural Design Engineer to join our Building Structures department in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural analysis and design of building structures and foundations in diverse sectors and scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out structural analysis and design of building structures and foundations in diverse sectors and scale.
  • Practice innovative design, always striving to find the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Keep up to date with your technical skills through training provided by Ramboll and through self-learning, as expected of a chartered / near chartered Engineer.
  • Delight our existing clients and collaborators through an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude in all our engagements at all project stages.
  • Communicate designs to team members & construction sites.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in structural/civil engineering and relevant experience in a variety of sectors such as schools, higher education, residential, commercial, or industrial development. You should have experience of delivering accurate and innovative structural designs using a host of analysis, design, and modelling tools. A good team player, able to work collaboratively within large teams on large projects, and comfortable to work independently on smaller projects, under supervision, but with wide-ranging responsibilities for all aspects of design.
