Commercial Development Representative

Job Opportunity at Vertical Advantage
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Development Representative to join our commercial team at Vertical Advantage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering plans on our key brands for retail customers and providing support for our larger sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
- Prepare and deliver annual sales plans for a portfolio of customers
- Provide sales support to the Account Management team
- Implement Promotional Plans and Evaluate Effectiveness
- Develop and implement promotional plans to drive sales growth
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional plans and provide recommendations for improvement
- Provide Accurate Sales Forecasts
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for key customers
- Provide regular sales forecast updates to the sales team
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 1-2 years of sales or commercial experience in a related industry
- Skills and Abilities
- Highly self-motivated and results-focused with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent IT skills with experience using Excel
