We are seeking a highly skilled European Retail Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page Marketing. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving retail growth across Europe, working closely with local markets and channel partners.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of business performance and be able to identify growth areas. They will support business reviews with key customers, preparing insights and recommendations to drive overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of business performance to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support business reviews with key customers, preparing insights and recommendations to drive overall performance.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and wider teams to understand and align on product strategies.
  • Identify commercial gaps in monthly sales performance and take necessary actions to rectify.
  • Oversee the execution of European promotions.
  • Develop strategies and plans to open up new channels to support category goals commercially.
  • Drive the recruitment of new partners to find new routes to market, defining collaborations at a local level.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, meeting deadlines.
  • Monitor trends and developments in the European retail landscape to uncover new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability in a European commercial/product management role.
  • Solid understanding of the retail landscape across Europe.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to network and handle diverse team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Passionate about technology and wanting to make a difference.
