Customer Development Manager, European Veterinary Corporates

Job Purpose
The European Veterinary Corporate Development Manager will be responsible for developing the business with main Regional Veterinary Corporate Groups such as Anicura, IVC Evidensia. This role will handle the business relationship to secure customer support for Hill's brands at EU HQ level and build an overarching Joint Business Plan (JBP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and elevating the partnership and collaboration with the organization of key European Veterinary Corporate customers.
- Preparing and negotiating Terms and Conditions during tenders; support the local Veterinary Corporate Key Account Managers with Terms and Conditions for country agreements.
- Leading the development of annual Joint Business Plans in alignment with customer strategy and Hill's regional priorities to achieve short and long-term objectives.
- Building a European Catman vision for veterinary clinics and rolling it out to countries.
- Ensuring Distribution Policy implementation and compliance are clear and followed by local teams by providing guidance and support.
- Building the EU Veterinary Corporate Key Account team to align priorities and secure execution of Hill's initiatives.
- Participating and engaging local Key Account Managers to optimize commercial outstanding execution and drive 'Test and Learn' initiatives to leverage growth opportunities.
- Visiting countries for joint customer meetings.
- Driving Catman (RCD) implementation with Veterinary Corporates across the region.
- Working with corporate Professional Veterinary Association (PVA) support and corporate customers to ensure continuing education is made available to staff.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
- 7+ years of experience in Customer Development/Sales/Marketing.
- Experience in Key Account Management, strong knowledge and awareness of the Veterinary channel.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the proven ability to influence others to make changes that deliver business results.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% travel expected.
