About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Institutional Sales professional to lead our Nordic sales efforts as a standalone role. As a key member of the William Blake Group team, you will be responsible for developing new relationships and building on our existing client base in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for business development in the Nordic region, identifying and pursuing new opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at asset owners in the Nordics, providing valuable insights and expertise to deliver financial solutions to clients.
  • Execute sales priorities and activities for the region, including direct prospecting, conference attendance, roadshows, and campaigns to drive business growth.
  • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, qualifying, progressing, and closing opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Contribute to product and capability development for the region by articulating long-term trends and product gaps to the investment teams, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of the Nordic investment landscape, including key dynamics, growth areas, and macro trends.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with asset owners in the Nordics, with a strong network of contacts and connections.
  • Ability to access key decision-makers at relevant asset owners, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive business growth.
  • Well-developed sales skills, combining knowledge of the markets, clients, and the ability to create demand to deliver value to clients and the firm.
