Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory and General Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Consultant Physician for Respiratory Conditions, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

About the Role:

This is a substantive consultant position based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, with opportunities to develop a sub-specialty interest and contribute to the general respiratory workload of the department. You will work closely with a team of three existing substantive consultants, sharing responsibilities and expertise to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care for respiratory conditions, including inpatient and outpatient commitments.
  • Contribute to the general respiratory workload of the department, including developing a sub-specialty interest.
  • Work effectively with colleagues in an MDT setting to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate higher medical degree (MD or equivalent)
  • Full GMC registration
  • MRCP
  • CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
