Railway Operations Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Operations Safety Specialist to join our Safety Team in London.
- Develop and maintain operational standards for inclusion in the Safety Manual.
- Create and monitor a Competence & Operations Training Management System.
- Perform Safety Checks and Audits of operational safety critical work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of railway operational matters.
- Previous experience in traincrew management or supervision is advantageous.
- Knowledge of all rules and standards applicable to train operation on Network Rail controlled infrastructure and in depots.
- Holding ENTO units A1 and V1 (or equivalent) awarded by a recognised issuing authority.
- A proactive individual with strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PDF tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Provide training and guidance to traincrew.
- Monitor and report on safety performance.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of railway operations and safety regulations.
- Experience in safety management and training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
