Child Development Specialist

This is a hybrid role where you will spend roughly half of the week working from home, with the other half of the week travelling to visit sites in your geographical area.
Job Responsibilities- Carry out assessments and consultations, formulate therapeutic plans and carry out some direct, trauma-informed work with the children and people.
- Deliver training and provide advice to residential staff on how to best support children in their care.
- A Doctorate level degree in Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational Psychology.
- Full HCPC registration without conditions.
- UK Driving Licence and access to own car is essential.
- Clear and enhanced DBS.
- Experience working with children and people within CAMHS, residential or specialist education settings.
- Good understanding of residential care, trauma-informed practice and multidisciplinary working.
Up to £63,000 per annum. This is a competitive salary for this type of role.
The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave entitlement and pension scheme contributions.
