About the Role

Lantern Academy is a small school nestled within the village of Ketley Bank, on the outskirts of Telford Town Centre. We are seeking a qualified Child Development Specialist to join our team, who will play a vital role in ensuring the early years setting meets Ofsted requirements consistently.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the early years setting remains a safe space for children, staff, and others.
  • Develop a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
  • Collaborate with local professionals to benefit children and families.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. As a Child Development Specialist, you will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
