About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to work as a Hospital Support Worker at Tupwood Nursing Home. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and clean environment for residents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the site maintains a high level of cleanliness, including daily and weekly cleaning regimes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working 16 hours per week (Wednesday and Saturday 9am until 5pm)
  • Ensuring the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
  • Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning regimes
  • Maintaining and replenishing stock and ensuring equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Employing safe working practices and adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Complying with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work (desirable)
  • Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable)
  • Friendly, conscientious, and have a positive attitude
  • A good communicator
