About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team at EACD National Coordinators. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our organization's mission and values, as well as communicating with our members and stakeholders.

Job Description

The Communications Committee plays a vital role in enhancing the profile of EACD as an organization by utilizing various communication channels. Key responsibilities include:

  • To build a community of EACD members and increase awareness about the organization through diverse communication channels.
  • To inform and update the membership on ongoing activities and events within EACD.
  • To disseminate research findings relevant to the mission of EACD across Europe and beyond, ensuring seamless communication between research and clinical practice.
  • To foster cooperation and communication among individuals interested in childhood-onset disabilities in Europe and beyond.
  • To encourage professional involvement in the field of childhood-onset disability.
  • To support other members of the Communications Committee with tasks and decisions as required.
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote EACD's mission and values.
  • Maintain strong relationships with EACD members, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with other committees to ensure aligned goals and objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
