Public Relations Specialist

**Job Overview:**
Sea Career is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team in London. This 1-year fixed term contract offers an excellent opportunity to work with a global yacht management company.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury services, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in public relations and corporate communications in the yachting industry.
This role involves developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance brand visibility, foster positive media relations, and engage stakeholders in the yachting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative PR and communication strategies that align with the company's goals and enhance its reputation within the yacht management sector.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media platforms.
- Plan and coordinate promotional events, press conferences, and industry trade shows.
- Develop crisis communication strategies and manage communication during critical incidents to protect the company's reputation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for communication initiatives and maintain the company's competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment across all channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in PR and communications within the yachting industry.
- Strong understanding of media landscape and experience in building media relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in social media platforms and content management systems.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Salary: £60k plus bonus
